This is my test of air flow around my site. Simple but visually helps to determined what kind of movement there is on the site. As you can see the heavy air flow is located on my lot. All the air escapes to land via that opening. The air that comes across and hit the building are force upwards and around.

This smoke study is very interesting... I think it starts to give you support for the orientation of your building.
